Tips on CIS installation

Connect the ink ribbon connector to the main tank unit, alternate
pressure on the tiny screws to finger tight.
                                                              

  • Prefill the ink bottles matching the color code, leave the
    bottle top open until the installation is completed.

  • Prime the cartridge as shown in the video sequence to rid
    of air in the cartridge and the ink feed ribbon.

  • Mount the ink ribbon so it can move freely and install the
    cartridge to test free movement.

  • Run nozzle check no more than 2 time if possible.  
    Excessive cleaning will damage the printer.

Step 3: Apply even pressure on the connector gently.  ( finger tight )

The purpose of this video

  1. Show how to properly connect the hose connector with even pressure to avoid unexpected leakage problem.
    Install the connector when the system is empty.
