The new mounting cross bar is designed to allow the ink ribbon to be
elevated so it will not touch the track / pizza wheels. Try the cross bar
on the printer without removing the adhesive. It should only go on one
way. This is a new modified part. So if you have a question, email me

The standard PK cartridge is installed as the 7 color set. If you need to
use the MK cartridge, the PK will be removed. The MK cartridge will
not be installed unless it is the primary color. In that case the PK will be
removed. MK ink line is indicated by the red tape to avoid mix up.
Please do not remove the tape.

This photo shows how the ink ribbon should be mounted. Be sure the
ink ribbon does not touch the paper feed track or the pizza wheels. You
could double the strap to make the ribbon more securely mounted. If
you do not find a second mounting strap, please let me know. You
should also find spare parts included in the package.

This is another photo showing how the CIS looks like when it is
installed. Keep in mind the cartridge cover must be removed. The
photo did not show the cartridge cover removed. I will have this photo
updated to show the cover removed.
